This review has been very difficult for me to write. I love Tantus: I love that all
their toys are 100% silicone, I love their reasonable prices, I love that their packaging doesn’t have scantily clad women with big hair on it. So I was happy to review the Tantus Protouch Plug for Babeland. But, sadly, I don’t love it.
Since the Protouch Plug is 100% silicone, it’s boilable, bleachable, and easy to care for. Just make sure to use water-based lubricant and don’t store it touching other silicone toys. It’s a very firm toy; in fact, it feels hard to me. It’s shaped like a “come hither” finger, for easy g-spotting and prostate play. It also comes with a vibrating bullet to put in the hole at the base. Other reviewers say this bullet is weak, but mine is actually too strong for me to use, even though it runs on watch batteries.
The bent finger shape of this toy does stimulate my g-spot, but it’s not amazing. There are better toys for that, and oddly, this silicone toy feels harder to me than my metal or glass dildos. The size and shape, coupled with how firm the toy is, sometimes make me feel unpleasantly poked. When I get the Protouch all the way into my vagina, it goes right past my g-spot, so I can choose either the stretching the diameter near the base provides, or g-spot stimulation, but not both at once.
However, the Protouch is mostly marketed as a butt toy. Unfortunately, as a butt toy, the Protouch is also just okay. The graduated shape makes it pretty easy to take it all in, but I don’t want it in my bum much. It’s too hard and there’s nothing particularly stimulating about the shape for my rear. Also, though it’s called a plug, it doesn’t stay in, even when I remain perfectly still. If you’re looking for a plug that stays in, look here instead.
Perhaps I’m missing something awesome about this toy because I don’t have a prostate. But there are other prostate toys that also play beautifully on all the posterior nerves, and can make a woman’s g-spot happy as well.
Thanks, Babeland, for sending me the Protouch Plug to review. Babeland has lots of anal toys and g-spot dildos to play with, so check them out!

I saw this for review, and I thought about it. Now I don’t know if I’d like it much. Hmmm… Tantus products are usually awesome. I think I’ll probably pass on it, that is unless my partner decides on trying it out in the future.
