Spur Review for Vixen Creations

I’ve heard so many good things about Vixen Creations since I started getting into sex toys last year. I was thrilled when they accepted me as a reviewer, and couldn’t wait for my first Vixskin toy, the lovely realistic Spur.

The first thing I did when the Spur arrived was squeeze it. It’s supple and squishy on the outside, and hard as a rock on the inside. “Wow, this feels real!” I exclaimed to K. “Hey, come squeeze this!”

“You want me to squeeze your dildo?” he asked.

“Yes, squeeze it!”

Bemused, K squeezed the dildo. He seemed surprised when he said, “huh, that does feel real. Neat.” There we stood, in the kitchen, squeezing a dildo that looks just like a penis.

The “skin” of the dildo was a little tacky, but most of that faded when I washed it with soap and water before use. It reproduces a bit of stickiness after a while, though. I have no idea why this is, but I would guess it’s a byproduct of whatever makes Vixskin feel like real skin. Vixskin is 100% non-porous silicone, so there’s nothing icky that will come off in your body; the only real downside to the stickiness is that it picks up dust and lint like crazy. However, I’ve found that leaving the Spur in its cylinder after washing prevents this. (Speaking of which, how much do I enjoy having a cute little penis hanging out in a clear canister by my bed? Way too much.)

I admired the Spur a bit before using it. Mine is a pretty caramel skin tone. I love that all realistic Vixskin toys appear to have a foreskin. Simply beautiful. It’s too bad the foreskin doesn’t move like a real one, but if a toy company can solve that puzzle, I bet it will be Vixen. I spread a thin layer of water-based lubricant over the Spur before playing with it, giving it about as much lubrication as an uncut cock.

The Spur’s head is totally squishy, so though the dildo’s smallish, it took me a bit more work to get it in than I expected. But once I had played with a vibrator long enough to get aroused it slid inside me like a real penis. And it felt like a real penis. I had heard all sorts of marvelous things about how real Vixskin feels, but until you feel it yourself, trust me — you are not prepared. It is so easy to fantasize while this toy is in me. I used it for a really long time, and in different positions, as if I were having sex. This is the first time I’ve ever wanted to use a dildo doggie style. By the end, I almost felt like the Spur was fucking me. I had a lot of vaginal orgasms with this dildo, and even a couple g-spot orgasms. It stimulates my g-spot like a real penis: in other words, not with pinpoint precision, but get the right angle, and wow.

When I was done, K decided it was his turn to play with me. After washing the Spur, he had me suck on it while he fucked me; because it’s small, even I can deepthroat it. He enjoyed watching me suck on something that looked so real very much, and I enjoyed doing it. Then, using plenty of lubricant, he slid the dildo into my ass. The Spur felt even more “real” to me in my ass than in my vagina. If it had been attached to a human being, I’m not sure I could have discerned between it and a real penis. The Spur is absolutely perfect for anyone who wants to mimic the wonderful feel of anal sex with a dildo of non-intimidating proportions, or who wants to practice for the real thing. Or for anyone who just wants something plush, smooth, and yet firm enough to penetrate a butt with authority. Its squishiness and size also make it great for double penetration.

The Spur is the smallest of Vixen’s realistic Vixskin dildos, at 1.25 inches in diameter and 4.75 insertable inches. But I’ve always found hardness to be far more important than size, and the Spur feels like the penis of a man who can stay rock hard for as long as you want. It feels so good, I want to play with it for an hour or more at a time. This is another way in which the size is a plus: for me, playing with most dildos for an hour would start to hurt. With the plush little Spur, though, I can keep going until I’m exhausted. Again — just like with the real thing.

A sex toy will never exactly replicate a penis. But the Spur comes really, really close. It’s simply amazing. I love it and cannot seem to stop using it. Is there a hotline for Vixskin addicts?
