Since I love my Ophoria dildo so much, I jumped at the
chance to review another Ophoria toy from Fascinations. Ophoria silicone, how do I love thee, let me count the ways. You are velvety but you do not drag. You are firm but not hard. You are completely body-safe. And, in this case, you are not pink. Nay, instead you are a sexy black.
The Ophoria Bliss #3 Mini Vibe is packaged beautifully, cradled by foam in a sturdy cardboard box, and it come with its own soft little pouch. Ophoria silicone toys pick up less gunk than any other silicone toys I’ve tried, so this pouch protects it between uses just fine; there’s no need to keep the vibe in saran wrap or a ziploc bag. When traveling, just put the vibe in the pouch and throw it in a bag or purse.
The Bliss #3 Mini Vibe is 1.5 inches in diameter and 5 inches long, with about 3 insertable inches. It puts out more power than its two AAA batteries would suggest. Click the button once to turn it on and once each time you want to change patterns, and hold it down to turn the vibe off. Unlike with some other pushbutton vibrators, I’ve never had to struggle to get this one to do what I want it to do.
The #3 has some serious ridges that make the vibrations somewhat diffuse when it’s used clitorally. I’m a fan of diffuse vibrations, but sometimes I want more direct, uninterrupted pressure, and the Bliss #3 can provide that. Just turn the vibe so that the solid strip is against your clitoris, and the vibrations feel more concentrated and powerful. Though I mostly use this vibe externally, I also love it as an internal vibrator. The vibrations don’t shake my pelvic bone; its width, ridges and texture feel wonderful; and the length is enough to satisfy me.
As someone who prefers patterned vibrations to sustained ones, I adore the Bliss #3. I don’t adore trying to explain the vibration patterns, but I’ll try to anyway, and probably make a fool of myself in the process. Click here for an excerpt from the manual that describes them.
The first three are standard, steady vibrations. “Soft” feels lovely, and gradually encourages me to orgasm. “Medium” makes me come in about ten seconds. “Intense” is too intense for me,
and I can’t use it.
Now on to the patterns. “Peaks” is arousing. While this pattern feels really good, it rarely makes me come. “Teaser” feels marvelous and gives me surprise orgasms. “Mambo” somewhat resembles a sexy mambo beat. “Spellbound” is the pattern I have the hardest time switching away from. “Thrum” pretty much forces me to orgasm. “Quiver” sometimes feels like a cooldown pattern, and sometimes feels like a culmination of all that’s come before.
Having written that, I’ve realized that how the patterns feel changes depending on my mood. So here’s the crux: I use every single pattern except “intense”, and they all make me orgasm. That’s at least seven orgasms in one session, eight if I’m aroused enough for “Peaks” to give me one. Until the patterns make me come, they all feel amazing. Most of the patterns seem unpredictable, just as sex does. For me, that makes fantasizing while using the vibe super easy. Fantasies create themselves with no conscious effort on my part.
I have only one problem with this vibe: it’s not waterproof. I love my bath toys, so that’s a disappointment for me. That is my only issue with it, though.
The Ophoria Bliss #3 is, simply, an awesome vibe, whether it’s your first or your thirtieth. It isn’t cheap, but it is worth every cent. And it would make a gorgeous present.

I am in LOVE with the Bliss #1. IN LOVE!
This actually looks surprisingly cute. I really do like neat little portable vibes and ones that don’t take up a whole lot of space in my already over-flowing closet! The vibe patterns in such a little toy actually intrigue me as well, so good to know you liked them.
I’m with Sundae, the vibe patterns have me highly intrigued! [And the fact that it's black.]
